In January 1993, we published the first issue of Big River Magazine. Now, 32 years later, the reasons for starting Big River have become even more important. To ensure that Big River continues into the future, we became a nonprofit – Big River Voice – in 2025. Through regional journalism, community meetings and events, and partnerships with organizations we focus on a healthier future for the land, the environment, and the people in our region.
